input devices?
Devices which are used to given input commands to
computers are called Input devices.
2. Write the
use of the following devices:

Webcam: A webcam is used to capture real
time videos and images in the computer that can be shared across the network
with our friends and relatives.

Microphone:
A microphone is used to input voice, music or other sound into the
computer.

Digital
camera: A digital camera is used to capture pictures. It stores the
pictures in a memory chip.

MICR: It is used
to read characters that are printed on documents like cheques.

Tablet: A graphics tablet (digitizer) enables a user to create

Smart cards are basically of two types: memory cards
and microprocessor cards. Memory cards have only a memory chip. They allow only
some predefined operations on the card. However, the microprocessor card has
memory chip as well as microprocessor components. You can add, delete and
manipulate the data on the card.

pen drive?
Pen Drive is a small portable device. It stores huge
amounts of data than CDs and DVDs.
It can store upto 32 GB data. Using pen drive, you can
easily store and transfer the data from one computer to another.

Speakers: Speakers
are used to listen to music or other sounds from the computer.

Printer: A printer
prints the data on the paper from the computer. It provides hardcopy output. A printed
paper is called printout.
